Obtain an Apple Merchant Identifier
To obtain an Apple Merchant Identifier, follow these steps:
Sign in to your Apple Developer Account: Go to the Apple Developer website (https://developer.apple.com) and sign in with your Apple ID.
Access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles: Once logged in, navigate to the "Account" tab at the top of the page, and then click on "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles."
Create a Merchant Identifier: In the "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles" section, find the "Identifiers" category on the left sidebar, and click on "Merchant IDs." Then, click the "+" (plus) button to create a new merchant identifier.
Enter a Description and Identifier: Provide a description for your merchant identifier (e.g., "My App Payments") and create an identifier in the format "merchant.com.yourdomain.yourappname" (e.g., "merchant.com.example.myapp"). Make sure the identifier is unique and follows the reverse-domain name style. Click "Continue" when done.
Confirm and Register: Review the details you've entered, and click "Register" to confirm the creation of your new merchant identifier. Once registered, you will be taken back to the "Merchant IDs" page, where you will see your new Apple Merchant Identifier listed.
You can now use this Apple Merchant Identifier to set up and enable Apple Pay in your Adalo app using the Parousya Connected Commerce Adalo component.
