Check-in / Check-out

Let's assume a user has an app configured with the Parousya Component and a tag / zone name of "Brand X". It enters the beacon's range, starting in Zone C. Monitoring starts and the app starts ranging. A beacon with a different tag will be ignored.

Assume the app is configured for a zone distance of 10 metres.

The user wanders into Zone B and stays in this zone for a check-in sampling interval of say, 5 seconds. This triggers a check-in for the app and this will allow the app to perform a specific action, e.g. sending a notification to the user that a sales promotion is going on.

If there are multiple beacons, it will wait until only one beacon is within range, so beacons need to be placed at appropriate distances apart.

If the user wanders out of Zone B back into Zone C and stays out for a zone exit delay of say, 30 seconds, this triggers a check-out for the app to perform another action.
