The beacon can be configured at
The following data is required:
Beacon ID (sometimes referred as UUID) (mandatory)
Tag / Zone Name (mandatory)
Configurable attachment keys
Beaconloc (mandatory)
Major
Minor
Various zones can be defined. In the diagram above, three zones are defined:
Zone A within a range of, say, 5 metres
Zone B within a range of 10 metres
Zone C within a range of 20 metres
Note that these distances are approximate due to hardware and/or environmental effects on the Bluetooth signal.
Currently the Parousya SDK allows you to define one zone within a specified distance where you can interact with your app.
Note that the Parousya SDK is based on Estimote Proximity SDK and will only work with Estimote Proximity beacons.
